Hello,
I'm looking at the Readme and Update Instructions that come with S2600ST_EFI_BIOSR0009_ME04.00.04.288.0_BMC1.29.7d703f59_FRUSDR_1.24. There is a statement that says:
############################################################################
uEFI System Update Package (SUP) Installation and Operation Instructions
Released - October 27, 2017
********************************************************************************
This update package includes the following production level system firmware
updates:
System BIOS - 00.01.0009
ME Firmware - 04.00.04.288
BMC Firmware - 1.29.7d703f59
FRUSDR - 1.24
--- Supported Products ---
Intel(R) Server Board S2600ST Family
Important notes:
WARNING: This release has the BMC PCIe bridge disabled. This will cause the
majority of operating systems to fail at boot as they stall during video
driver initialization.
############################################################################
Which FW element has the BMC PCIe bridge disabled, the BIOS or the BMC? We're using a 3rd party BMC provider and I need to know if this is something I can have them address or not.
Thanks.
Bob
